Peter’s Poultry Pty Ltd operates a poultry processing plant in Wangara, Western Australia, dedicated to producing and distributing quality fresh and frozen poultry and other meat products. The Peter’s Poultry Quality Management System provides a standard and minimum requirement that forms a basis for work practices, standard operating procedures and responsibilities. The Company’s Quality Standards and procedures promote, identify and recognize:
- Quality and technical competence in testing and inspection
- Performance of the QMS in regards to processing, distribution, product quality and service
- Training requirements and minimum standards in regards to food safety for all employees
- Compliance with product or system specifications
- Compliance by suppliers and contractors with raw material or product specifications
- Staff training will be provided and records will be signed and dated
- Compliance with standards and regulations including:
- AS 4696:2007 Australian standard for the hygienic production and transportation of meat and meat products for human consumption
- AS 4665:2005 Australian standard for construction of premises and hygienic production of poultry meat for human consumption

- Commitment to FSANZ Food Standards Codes and Relevant Australian Standards
